FAQ
How can I work with Staycating?
Staycating works with property owners, investors, businesses, vendors, and professionals through multiple service paths—including property management, marketing and branding, coaching, investment advisory, and full hospitality systems. Whether you want to DIY with guidance, partner with us, or go fully hands-off, we help you choose the right fit after reviewing your goals.
I’m an investor. Can you help me buy or scale properties?
Yes. We support investors from acquisition to exit, including ROI analysis, deal sourcing, off-market opportunities, portfolio strategy, and operational execution. For high-net-worth investors, we offer luxury DFY portfolio and hospitality advisory services built around a 5-star guest experience.
I’m a buyer or seller. Do you provide real estate services?
Yes. We provide licensed real estate support through our brokerage partnerships and investor network. We help buyers identify strong opportunities and sellers position income-producing properties for maximum value—especially vacation rentals.
I’m relocating to East Tennessee. Can Staycating help with housing?
Absolutely. We offer short- and mid-term housing options for individuals and families relocating to the area. This allows you to settle in comfortably while exploring neighborhoods and long-term housing options.
I’m a business owner. How does Staycating360 work?
Staycating360 helps local businesses grow through visibility, marketing, and strategic partnerships. Services include featured placement in our travel guides and vendor directory, cross-promotion through content and media, SEO backlinks, branding, and marketing systems. We offer DIY, DWY, and DFY plans depending on your goals and capacity.
I’m a vendor or service provider. How can I partner with Staycating?
We actively partner with trusted local vendors—including cleaners, handymen, contractors, service providers, and experience operators—through Staycating360™.
Vendors may be featured in our:
- Curated vendor directory and travel guides
- Guest recommendations and property resources
- Blog, email, social media, and video promotions
- Print and digital publications
Select vendors may also be integrated into property care, guest services, and referral opportunities across our portfolio.
Do vendors need to be licensed or insured?
Yes. Vendors must meet basic professional standards, including appropriate licensing and insurance where required. We prioritize reliability, quality, responsiveness, and guest-ready service.
I’m a property manager or real estate agent. Can I collaborate with Staycating?
Yes. We work with property managers and real estate professionals through education, systems, marketing, and strategic partnerships. Programs like RPM LaunchKit™ and Staycating360 help professionals expand services, increase deal flow, and monetize beyond traditional models.
What if my property is underperforming?
That’s exactly what our STR R.E.S.C.U.E.™ Program is designed for. We identify breakdowns in pricing, positioning, operations, and guest experience, then execute a structured turnaround from makeover to monetization—available for individual properties or full portfolios.
Do you only work with short-term rentals?
No. While short-term rentals are a core focus, we also support mid-term rentals, luxury assets, relocating clients, local businesses, vendors, and investors building long-term portfolios.
How do I get started?
Start by completing our contact and intake form. This allows our team to review your property, business, or services and recommend the most effective next step.
Is Staycating a good fit for everyone?
No—and that’s intentional. We work best with owners, investors, businesses, and vendors who value professionalism, systems, and long-term relationships. If you’re looking for shortcuts, we’re not the right fit. If you want consistency, accountability, and growth, you are.
How does the Staycating subscription model work?
Most Staycating services begin with a one-time consultation or assessment fee. This allows our team to evaluate your property, business, or portfolio, identify opportunities, and recommend a clear plan of action.
After the consultation, services are typically delivered through a monthly subscription or service-based fee, depending on the plan you choose (DIY, Done-With-You, or Done-For-You). This ensures ongoing support, execution, optimization, and accountability—rather than one-time advice with no follow-through.
In short:
Consultation → Plan of Action → Monthly Support or Execution
Why do you charge a consultation fee?
The consultation ensures every engagement starts with clarity and alignment. It allows us to assess fit, scope the work correctly, and avoid guesswork—saving time and money for everyone involved. It also ensures we only take on projects where we can deliver real results.
Are there contracts or long-term commitments?
This depends on the service. Some plans operate month-to-month, while others—especially DFY, luxury, or portfolio-level services—may require a minimum commitment due to the depth of execution involved. All terms are clearly outlined before you move forward.
What is your refund policy?
Because our work is strategic, customized, and time-based, consultation fees are non-refundable. Once a consultation is booked, our team allocates time, resources, and preparation to review your property, business, or portfolio.
For monthly subscriptions or service fees, refunds are not issued for services already rendered. However, most plans are month-to-month or annual plans unless otherwise stated, allowing you to cancel future billing with proper notice as outlined in your service agreement.
For DFY, luxury, or portfolio-level engagements, minimum commitments may apply due to the depth of execution involved. All terms, scope, and billing details are clearly outlined before any work begins.
Our goal is clarity upfront—no surprises, no fine print.
